I listened to this one as an audiobook and I rewound so many times at the beginning. I have no idea why, but the number of characters at the beginning, I just could not keep the people straight. It could have just been a lack of focus on my part but just a heads up as you start this one.

Overall, this book was… fine. It had all the components of some of the best young adult thrillers. It had interesting back stories for some of the characters. However, the romantic components of the interpersonal relationships seemed too unnaturally for the current situation the characters were in and how long they were in it. The plot was also dull. At no point in the book was I wanting to read it faster or not want to have to stop. I felt like I was just listening along because there was nothing better to do.

This book had the potential but it just fell flat for me. 3 stars.
