This was definitely not Cindy R.X. He’s best book but it was a quick read. The characterization of most of the main characters was lackluster. I felt a little bad about Charlie and Emily. Will and Ant, on the other hand, I couldn’t even tell apart half the time. That is a problem where there are 6 POVs.

This was a great concept. I would have loved to read a longer version with the characters more developed. With a slightly longer book, there may not have been a need for the long conversation with the killer in the final pages. Why would the killer have wasted their breath having that conversation other than to wrap things up in a nice little bow for the readers?

This gets 3.5 stars for being a quick and fun read. Fleshed out into a longer book , I truly believe it could have been a 5 star story.
