This book was a fast read and I can’t overstate how quickly I flew through it. The story doesn’t spend much time on character development, instead focusing on nonstop action, which I didn’t mind at all. There’s also a large number of characters, but because the plot stays so action-focused, it never feels overwhelming to keep track of them.
This was a low-lift thriller where it is easy to figure out what happened. The main detective was extremely likable. It was just overall a positive experience.
